(Be sure to wear your best lederhosen!)
1-3:15 PM: Ryan Trotti Band
3:30-4:15 PM: Steinholding Competition*
(We provide the steins, you lift with all your might!)
4:30-5:45 PM: The Mug Band
*Best Traditional German Dress Contest
Contest is FREE and open to all ages and will be conducted in 3 categories; Women's Traditional Dress, Men's Traditional Dress, and Kid's Traditional Dress (up to age 16). Contestants are to meet 5 minutes before the time of the contest, at the right side of the Entertainment Stage. By category, contestants line up in front of the stage and winners are selected based on applause from the crowd. Winners will receive prizes with official Oktoberfest swag.
*USSA Official Steinholding Competition
Contest is FREE and open to adults over 21 years of age; contestants may register on the event day or show up to the stage five minutes prior to the competition to participate (space permitting). There will be two mens heats and two womens heats, each consisting of 15 participants. The goal is to be the last person holding up your 1 liter stein! Winners will receive prizes with official Oktoberfest swag.
Kinderfest Zone
The Oktoberfest Kinderfest Zone is now located at the Newberry Arts Center at 1716 Main Street!
